On this quick walk I came across an old stone wall in the fog on a grassy peak off Highway 12 in Napa. There were a few cows and some horses in the fields but no-one else on the mountain in the early morning fog. Just at the last few feet of the summit I emerged above the fog and there was a reasonable view of the surrounding, but photographically I preferred the tranquil mystery of the mist. They say “bad weather makes great pictures.” Sometimes it works that way.
